How to Connect the ULP LoRa to the Receiver for the First Time

Ensuring your ULP LoRa wind meter is properly linked to its receiver is essential for accurate wind data transmission. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to connect your LoRa device to the receiver for the first time.

Step 1: Download the Configuration App

Before starting the pairing process, download the necessary app for your device:

  • iOS users: Download the Anemotracker Configurator app from the App Store.

  • Android users: Download Anemotracker Configure & Update from the Google Play Store.

These apps allow you to link and manage your ULP LoRa and receiver effortlessly.

Step 2: Power On the Receiver

  1. Locate the button below the receiver.

  2. Press and hold the button for 6 seconds until the indicator light appears.

  3. The receiver is now in pairing mode and ready to connect.

Step 3: Open the App and Find Your Device

  1. Launch the Anemotracker app.

  2. Swipe up to scan for nearby devices.

  3. Use the filter options to search by name or direction.

  4. Locate your device in the list; it will appear as "LORA-RECVR".

  5. Click on the name to establish a connection.

Step 4: Power On the LoRa Device

  1. Press the silver button in the center of the ULP LoRa device.

  2. Wait for the indicator light to turn on.

  3. The LoRa is now ready for pairing.

Step 5: Link the LoRa Device to the Receiver

  1. At the bottom of the app screen, tap the “+” button.

  2. Select the ULP LoRa device you want to link.

  3. To remove an existing linked LoRa device, press the “-” icon.

Step 6: Finalize the Configuration

Once you’ve made your selections, tap "Configure" to save your settings. Your ULP LoRa is now successfully linked to the receiver!
